Nina is an illustrator, dividing her time between Berlin and Copenhagen.

She has been drawing for as long as she can remember. "My palette is bright and I like playing with different textures using gouache, crayons and markers. For me, drawing is like a brain exercise that teaches me how to relax and be more present - I’m just starting to realise how much having a peaceful mind affects the work that I’m doing."

"I deliberately take an afternoon to just experiment and have fun with the process; drawing whatever comes out of my head. It’s giving me a lot more energy for the “real” projects that come along, and has helped me hold on to the playfulness that I think is really important in illustration."
